Rare footage shows the Krays come across as softly-spoken…and extremely scary (Video)

With new movie Legend, starring Tom Hardy as both Ronnie and Reggie Kray, coming out soon, we thought we'd delve into the archives from some real-life footage of the original gangsters.
We've unearthed this interview where they both claim to be innocent after a court case in 1964. The interviewer asks them whether clubland in London is tough. "I don't think there's any trouble at all in them," responds 'Ronald', before ominously adding "...except occasionally."
The whole interview is the pair of them speaking in very softly-spoken, considered tones - but neither can help but sound extremely menacing.
The host asks them what they intend to do with their lives moving forward.
"I'd like to have a family life now. I intend to get married as soon as possible," responds Reggie, whilst brother Ronnie says he'd "like to go abroad for a short while and then be left alone."
