PUBG is finally coming to the PS4 in December

It had been an Xbox One exclusive for a year

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, one of the most popular, and most award-winning, games of the last few years had begun life as a PC game, before being ported over for Xbox consoles exclusively.

Now, finally, PS4 players will be able to get their hands on the hit shooter, commonly known as PUBG, and rocket launch all their friends and family into kingdom come.

Both Eurogamer and video game analyst Daniel Ahmad have reported that PUBG will be arriving on the Sony console sometime in December (just in time for Christmas!), but the exact date is still unknown.

Also announced this week are the new skins being added to the game, as players in the battle royale shoot-’em-up will be able to play as Joker or Harley Quinn.

Considering that PUBG’s biggest competitor is Fortnite, and Fortnite recently made the addition of Marvel’s Thanos to the roster, it makes sense that PUBG would begin to back the DC characters.

On top of that, Xbox One players of the game should prepare themselves for some big news, as Microsoft are set to make an announcement on the game on Saturday, 10 November.

The smart money would be on the addition of a new map, but all will be revealed soon enough.
