The topic of Brexit is discussed in the villa. (Photo: ITV2)[/caption]
Morgan's lovely comments follow the highly-publicised discussion between some of the women on Love Island about Brexit, which began when Georgia asked her fellow contestants: "What do you think about Brexit?"
This was followed by: "What’s that?"
And, once Brexit was explained: "welfare.. could be cut down."
And finally: "Does that mean we won’t have any trees?"
His comments also follow those of another man with his finger on the pulse of the working class plight, Giles Coren, who eviscerated the show's contestants last week as being "Naked stupid venal morally bankrupt spiritually dead actually pretty ugly young people fucking for money" and the show itself as "world-ending bullshit".
He, like Morgan, really has a way with words.
Thankfully, Morgan did face some push back from his co-host Susanna Reid, who referred to him as "snobby" for what he said.
His response?
"Here’s why I’m snobby, they are even more stupid than I thought they were."
Well, there we go.Explore more on these topics:
