A big ol' change.

Acting, it's a funny business, isn't it? One of the things about the industry is that it requires performers to be flexible and able to play a variety of roles. If you want to make it, then you have to be willing to get your hands dirty and play whatever part you're offered. One day you might be a machiavellian politician, the next you might be playing a lovable everyman - for actors the possibilities are as finite as a scriptwriter's mind allows. Unless the actor is Adam Sandler, of course, then that possibility extends entirely to playing yourself over and over again. For the most part, though, my point still stands. Take the hitman hired by the owner of the Queen Vic, Mick Carter, last night. He was played by none other than comedian Kevin Eldon - who you probably recognise for his many other on-screen roles. He's famous for appearing in Knowing Me, Knowing You with Alan Partridge, Brass Eye, Hot Fuzz. And, more recently... Game of Thrones. Which people were quick to point out on Twitter. https://twitter.com/onefromthemodem/status/971112812130066433?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Ftv%2Ftv-news%2Fbest-cameo-ever-eastenders-fans-12139133 https://twitter.com/mackle01/status/971112384784945152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Ftv%2Ftv-news%2Fbest-cameo-ever-eastenders-fans-12139133 https://twitter.com/mrmarkreed/status/971111609056813059?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mirror.co.uk%2Ftv%2Ftv-news%2Fbest-cameo-ever-eastenders-fans-12139133 On GOT he played Camello, a member of a comedic theatre troupe in Braavos, who Arya Stark discovered on her travels. Remember? What a transformation.
