Paul Rudd urges 'fellow millennials' to wear a mask in hilarious PSA

Somewhere in an attic in Hollywood, there is a painting of old Paul Rudd decaying away

Paul Rudd has filmed a PSA encouraging young people to wear a mask.

The video was shared by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Rudd was picked because of his famously-youthful good looks (he is 51 years old).

"A few days ago I was talking on the iPhone with my homie Govenor Cuomo, and he's just going off about how us millennials need to wear masks," say Rudd, addressing the viewer, "because, get this, apparently a lot of Covid is transmitted by us millennials."

"So Cuomo asked me, 'Paul, you gotta help. What are you? 26?'"

"And I didn't correct him."

Rudd appears in deliberately crass 'millennial' trapping, wearing a Tyler The Creator hoodie and a snapback, holding a skateboard and appearing in front of what appears to be a YouTube synthwave compilation backdrop.

He later goes full-Poochie with a double electric guitar.

"So fam, let's real talk," he continues. "Masks? They're totally beast. So slide that into your DMs and Twitch it."

"Vibe check: Yes, queens like ourselves, we wanna go to bars, we want to drink, hook up, do our TikToks, I get it."

"I'm not gonna preach at you like some celebrity. This is a convo, where I talk, and you shut up and wear your mask."

He then pretends to receive a phone call from cool millennial pop sensation and his "bae" Billie Eilish, who is also wearing her mask.

He also does a TikTok dance in it, which is quite funny, but it is not as good as the best Paul Rudd dance moment, Celery Man:

"It's not hard! People are dying . . . and it's preventable," Rudd ends the video with, eventually dropping the charade. "Just wear a mask, I shouldn't have to make it fun. It's science! It's science!"
