Bridesmaids is a 2011 film starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Rose Byrne, directed by Paul Feig.
The comedy mixes observation and satire with slapstick and farce.
A maid of honour watches her relationship with a best friend spiral out of control - along with the rest of her life.
Having lost all of her savings in a failed business venture and been dumped by her boyfriend, she focuses on arranging her childhood friend's big day.
Unfortunately rivalries among the bridesmaids, an attempt to hijack her plans and a bout of food poisoning all derail plans.
