It’s business time

Oh, you’re a legend Dave! Granted, we’ve no idea if the person that approved this new HBO special from the talented comedians is actually called Dave, but we like to think that he is.

Yes, that’s right. The hiphopopotamus  and the rhymenoceros will be returning to the small screen and if you missed out on any of their recent live gigs, we’ve got some good news for you.

One of their live shows has been recorded for a TV special and it’s going to air for the world to see.

The hour-long, one-off HBO show will be a condensed recording of their performance at Hammersmith Apollo in London.

Since premiering in 2007,  Flight of the Conchords has become a cult-favourite as the surreal adventures of Jemaine Clement, Bret McKenzie, and Rhys Darby have inspired a level of devotion that’s seldom seen.

Quite frankly, this news is making us a little bit emotional but to paraphrase their iconic song “these aren’t tears of happiness, I’ve just been cutting onions, I’m making a lasagna for one.”

As of yet, there’s no word when the show will air but we’ll be keeping our eye out for this one.
