Quentin Tarantino is back with his eighth movie The Hateful Eight, starring his best bud and the actor he respects the most – Samuel L Jackson.
Let’s face it, it wouldn’t be a Tarantino movie without him.
Jackson plays Major Marquis Warren, a Civil War ex-Union officer turned bounty hunter.
It also features Kurt Russell as John “The Hangman” Ruth and Jennifer Jason Leigh as Daisy Domergue, an intriguing character who is wanted for murder.
The Hangman is planning to take Daisy before a judge where, presumably, she’ll be hanged. But that’s before they wind up in an abandoned cabin with six other brilliantly hateful souls.
Set in a snowy wilderness around 10 years after the Civil War, with violence and one-line quips, it looks set to be a Western epic.
