New Dunkirk trailer ramps up the tension, raises the stakes and will set your heart racing

A new Christopher Nolan film is always cause for excitement, and Dunkirk is no exception.

We've had one teaser trailer, another longer trailer, and today Warner Bros. have launched a third trailer, and the hype over Nolan's WWII movie is ramping up even further. Boasting an all-star cast including Nolan regulars Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy, along with acting heavyweights Kenneth Branagh and Mark Rylance, plus some guy called Harry Styles, Dunkirk is already shaping up to be a huge hit, and this latest trailer does nothing to undo that. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KLeFboA8gc&feature=youtu.be “Dunkirk” opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in. While the previous trailer had more of an emotional pull, this new trailer ramps up the drama and tension. Scenes of bombing runs, dogfights, narrow escapes from colliding ships - there's an awful lot going on, and it all looks incredible. Nolan doesn't make shoddy-looking movies, and the extensive use of IMAX cameras looks like it's really going to pay off on Dunkirk. We cannot wait for this. Dunkirk is in UK cinemas 21 July 2017
