Netflix has released brand new footage of Stranger Things Season 2

"I don't know where she is and even if I did, I would never tell you"

“I don’t know where she is and even if I did, I would never tell you.”

We can barely hide our excitement at the fact that Stranger Things season 2 is coming out on Friday 27 October and with less than a few days to go, the countdown is well and truly on.

Since hitting our screens in 2016, it has gripped (and confused the hell out of) Irish audiences and it has proved to be a big fan favourite here.

If you haven’t seen it, we are disappointed but we are here to give you a brief synopsis and if you haven’t watched the first season yet, there is still time for you to get up to speed just in time for the release of the second season.

If you are up to date, then this footage will tide you over for the time being.

The people at Netflix knew exactly what they were at when they released a little 30-second snippet of never-before-seen footage from the new series of the show.

The clip shows Mike Wheeler being interrogated by police about the disappearance of Eleven who happens to be staring in the window as he is asked about her whereabouts.

“I don’t know where she is,” he explains before adding “and even if I did, I would never tell you, I would never tell you.”

Wheeler is told that Eleven is a very dangerous individual and that if he sees any sighting of her or if she contacts him, he must report it immediately to the police.

“Otherwise, you’re putting yourself and your entire family at risk.”

At that moment, the camera cuts to the window where Eleven is looking in at everything that’s going on.

“Do you understand, Michael?”
