The 24-year-old already been named the richest creator in the world
MrBeast turned down a staggering $1billion for his YouTube channel, despite the fact it would've ranked him amongst the wealthiest people in the world.
The 24-year-old started out on YouTube in 2012, and gained popularity for his outlandish videos, such as
spending 50 hours buried alive or
buying everything in a store.

MrBeast - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - was named
the richest creator in the world by Forbes just a few weeks ago, reportedly earning $54million in 2021.
But in a recent interview, MrBeast explained why he turned down the billion dollar offer.

He told the FLAGRANT podcast: "There’s people, not like official term sheets, but you know like people that would actually be able to afford it.
"Like you know, ‘a billion dollars if we could own the channel and the companies’ and stuff like that. And I’m like, ‘oh that sounds enticing but I don’t know if I want to work for my YouTube channel."

MrBeast has 105 million subscribers and is currently one of the most followed people on YouTube.
Most of his money has reportedly been made from advertisements on his YouTube videos - though this wasn't even the main reason he topped the
Forbes list.
Forbes stated: "MrBeast earned the No. 1 spot on this list not only because he’s making more than anyone else, but also because his restaurant concept, MrBeast Burger, is a truly entrepreneurial mechanism for the YouTuber to monetise his fame.
"Rather than invest in cooking equipment or delivery infrastructure, MrBeast created the ghost kitchen operation in December 2020, in which people order a MrBeast Burger online and an affiliated restaurant with extra staff prepares the order for delivery."

The creator didn't react to the news as happily as you might expect, pointing out some holes in the magazine's announcement.
He wrote: "Couple edits, I have more than 160 mil followers. Our channels have 200+ mil subs alone. The entrepreneur score seems off, some of my friends with sub 10 employees scored the same as ones with 100+ lol.
"Also can u plz use any other photo of me."
