Millions of Netflix subscribers have been targeted by a new scam

Watch out for this one.

Don’t get caught.

Netflix subscribers have been hit by an updated version of the scam that has been doing the rounds since last year.

While previous Netflix scams have simply asked users to update their billing information, the latest scam is more worrisome — falsely telling users that their accounts will be suspended unless their payment information is updated within 48 hours.

The scam is pretty sophisticated, with the Netflix logo emblazoned across the top of the email. Not only that but when the user actually clicks on the link provided in the email they are taken to a website that looks like a relatively convincing mock-up of a Netflix dashboard.

Users are encouraged to give their log-in details and their credit card info in order to prevent their account from being suspended.

So if you see an email in your inbox that looks anything like the below, be sure to get on to Netflix and confirm it’s really from them.
