Man uses AI to reimagine The Rock and Jason Momoa as Disney characters

Luca Allievi has reimagined Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Peter Dinklage and Terry Crews as characters such as Tinkerbell, Snow White and Belle.

The 33-year-old wanted to make the images as a funny take on the "controversies surrounding" Disney's live-action adaptations.

Luca, a biotechnologist, from Milan, Italy, said he wanted to "add some humour and lighten the mood amid the casting debates."

"I thought it would be amusing to imagine actors like Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Terry Crews, and others in roles that are completely out of character for them.

"These actors are known for their self-deprecating humour and willingness to embrace playful, unconventional roles, making them perfect for this playful twist."

Luca said the response to his images has been "overwhelmingly positive." "Many people have continued to tag the actors in these images, playfully urging Disney to turn these interpretations into reality."

Commenters loved the creations, with one writing: "We need a Disney film with every character played by Dwayne Johnson… who’s with me?"

Another said: "I will watch any and all of these remakes."

In June, AI images of jacked characters from Harry Potter made headlines. The bizarre creation came from the YouTube channel, Fantasy Images, which uses AI to make spoofs of a number of films.

The description on this particular video credits the generated images to Midjourney, voices to ElevenLabs and speech animations to D-ID.

Titled ‘Harry Spotter – The Boy Who Lifted’, the adaptation begins with a ripped Dumbledore asking: “Harry Spotter, did you skip leg day again?”

‘Harry’ then hits back at his mentor: “Every day is arm day, sir.”

In a nod to the famous Half-Blood Prince scene, the Hogwarts headmaster then says: “It’s your job hurry to make sure I keep drinking this protein shake. Even if you have to force it down my throat.”

When Potter asks why he can’t drink it himself, Dumbledore points out the obvious and explains: “Because I need to bulk Harry!”

Almost every major character you can think of gets the ‘steroids-five-times-a-day’ treatment.
