Meanwhile others noticed that the pair were sat in front of the environment secretary Therese Coffey, prompting some to imagine what conversation she may have tried to strike up.
Those in attendance on Saturday watched history unfold as Vondroušová became the first unseeded player ever to win the women's singles tournament.
The 24-year-old Czech player triumpher over Tunisian opponent Jabeur in straight sets.
On Sunday, Novak Djokovic will be aiming for his fifth consecutive Wimbledon title when he takes on Carlos Alcaraz in the men's final.
