Speaking after the game, the team's new Italian manager said that he instructed the team to turn into "warriors" when they ran out onto the pitch to the Kasabian song.
He added: "Kasabian are a fantastic rock band from Leicester and I think the guitar man, Serge, is Italian. "It's good and I think they [the fans] love fighters. We are fighters."
Speaking to BBC 5 live, Pizzorno said: "I think that's up there with the ultimate, I could give all my awards up for that.

"The form we were on at the back of last season, you prayed that we could just carry on but it seems we have a bit more. To be 3-0 up at half-time on the first day of the season was just incredible."
