NME's recent cover stars have not impressed long-term fans of the magazine.

The likes of Rihanna and Taylor Swift have graced the front of the publication recently, to the shock of avid readers, but the latest choice is even less popular. https://twitter.com/NME/status/664595023984525313 Justin Bieber's oeuvre doesn't sit well with those who became NME fans for their coverage of British indie, and some of the angry reactions reflect this.
