Morgan Night’s testimony contradicts Amber Heard’s evidence of the incident in Hicksville
Johnny Depp was left “cowering in the corner” after being berated by Amber Heard during a stay at a luxury trailer park resort, an eyewitness testified during the defamation trial.
Morgan Night’s evidence contradicts the actress’ claims that her ex-husband had flown into a jealous rage and trashed their trailer during a stay in Hicksville in 2013.
Night told the jury in Fairfax County, Virginia: “I was speaking with Mr Depp, just one-on-one talking about Hicksville, and Ms Heard came over and she said that I want to talk to you and seemed really upset about something.
“They went off on their own and she started yelling at him.”
Night claimed Depp was “cowering and seemed almost afraid” as Heard “angrily” shouted at him.

“It was really, like, odd to see because he was older than her obviously, so but I just went back into the house,” he said, adding that Depp later apologised for the incident.
Night said at the beginning of the evening, the Pirates of the Caribbean star was a lot more outgoing but became reserved as the evening unfolded.
Night said only a light fixture had been broken in the couple’s trailer.
After Heard gave evidence last month about the incident at the trailer park, the owner tweeted saying “that never happened” and that Heard was the one “acting all jealous and crazy”
Night was quizzed about his support for Depp and accused of trying to get involved in the case, by interacting with a pro-Depp Twitter account.
He denied being a “big fan” of the actor.

Supermodel Kate Moss is expected to give evidence later on Wednesday where it has been suggested she will deny Depp never pushed her down some stairs, rather he “saved her”.
Depp is suing Heard for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote which he believes infers he physically and sexually assaulted her. Heard is counter-suing for $100m.
