Jeremy Kyle is set to make a TV comeback five years after the end of his controversial show.
The day-time TV host was infamous in the UK for his tabloid talk show The Jeremy Kyle Show, which was a source for lots of controversy.
The daily ITV show was axed suddenly in 2019 following the death of Steve Dymond, 63, who was found dead a few days after his appearance on the show.
His death, attributed to an overdose and heart problems, led to discussion over how his guests were treated.
Now the presenter has hinted at a return to free-to-air TV in a social media post this week.
Since the end of the 14-year running The Jeremy Kyle Show, the TV personality has held down his own news show on Talk TV since 2022, known as Jeremy Kyle Live.
Reports suggest he'll be a guest feature on Kate Garraway's new series of Life Stories, according to the DailyStar.
The one off episode is set to delve into Kyle's career and personal life in a face to face interview.
A source informed the Sun: "He filmed with Kate this week and was really open honest about everything he's been through. Everyone will be thrilled to see him back at ITV, it's a really great episode."
Life stories has been running since 2009 and has seen a wide variety of famous figures open up, including Katie Price, Simon Cowell and Freddie Flintoff, to name a few.
Last September, a coroner judged that there was no direct link between The Jeremy Kyle show and Steve Dymond's death.
After discussing the impact Dymond's death had on him, Kyle said: "We must never forget that a man died, but it's been proven that was nothing whatsoever to do with me.
"For two years it was horrific, and I had a complete breakdown. I'm not going to spend my life apologising for a show that 30,000 people came on and loved, and millions around the world watched."
