Jason Momoa has perfect response to Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones farewell

James Dawson

POW. Straight in the feels

Emilia Clarke said farewell to Game of Throne in an emotional message yesterday after filming for the eighth and final season of the show wrapped.

Clarke posted an image on Instagram from a recent trip to Ireland, where the show is filmed, writing: “Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade.

“It’s been a trip Game of Thronesthank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing.”

And now her (deceased) on-screen partner Jason Momoa has responded to her message on Instagram. Commenting on Emilia’s photo, he wrote: “Love u. Proud of you.”

And he wasn’t the only one of her co-star to respond. Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, also responded. She said: “Sweet words. Love you and HOLY Balls. #Thistheend”

John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly, added: “It’s been the best. Ever. And you’ve been incredible.”

Although Clarke has posted about the wrap on social media she has remained tight-lipped about the plot, or any spoilers at all. In fact, she reckons that there are plot points around the show that even she isn’t aware of.

“I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us,” she told The Hollywood Reporter last month.

“I’m being serious. I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us. There’s lots of different endings that could happen. I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen.”
