The hit US comedy returns for a new season, as The Gang are back to ‘run’ Paddy’s Pub
If you’re a fan of
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, your week has just got a lot sunnier as the show released a brand-new trailer.
The trailer for Season 13, which introduces the brilliant Mindy Kaling to the comedy, shows that despite some reshuffling of the cast, The Gang has not changed their ways at all.
They continue to follow their reckless, manipulative and shameless actions into the new season.
As main
It's Always Sunny cast member Dennis moved to North Dakota at the end of Season 12, questions arose whether Glenn Howerton would appear at all.
The show confirmed that the actor, who also writes and produces
It’s Always Sunny, will be in the majority of the episodes.
In the trailer, The Gang, or more specifically Mac, come to terms with Dennis’ move by creating a sex doll of Dennis.
“You said I needed something Dennis shaped to fill my hole.”

Another section of the trailer shows Danny DeVito’s character, Frank, using hot glue and lemon juice to heal a wound in his nose.
I doubt next time you visit your local GP that they’ll tell you to follow this advice, and if they do, you may need a new GP.
The Gang also go on a sexual harassment course, which sees Dee lifted by Mac, instantly crossing the line on sexual harassment.
Everyone was
unsure if actor Glenn Howerton was, in fact, going to ever appear on the hit comedy series again. Co-star
Charlie Day said he didn't want the show to go on without Dennis, and then Howerton emphasised that he had not yet officially departed.
Then,
during his interview with GQ in March, Howerton essentially confirmed that it was over and Paddy's Pub would be going ahead without it's most beloved psychopath.
However,
in an interview with The Wrap, Kaitlin Olson, who plays Sweet Dee has shed a bit more light on the situation by saying: "I do know that Glenn Howerton is coming back for some episodes."
"I don't know the specifics," she emphasised, "but I do know how he's being introduced back in, and it is absolutely hilarious."
The new series of
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia premieres on September 5
th on FXX in the US, while a UK release date is not known, but you can watch previous episodes on Netflix.
