I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here has a new queen of the jungle with [SPOILERS] ‘Gogglebox’ star Scarlett Moffatt winning the reality TV show.
The 26-year-old beat comedian Joel Dommett and actor Adam Thomas to glory in a public vote after 22 days in the jungle.
It has been a trying year, with the Brexit fallout, Donald Trump’s election and several celebrity deaths taking their toll on the nation’s wellbeing, but for some this was the final straw.

Perhaps it’s Trump’s rhetoric seeping into the public consciousness, perhaps it was the improbable staying power of Honey G on The X Factor, or perhaps it was just the emotions of the situation, but some people looked at the results and jumped to the conclusion that the fix was in.
We’re not sure ‘it’s rigged because she isn’t a real celebrity’ holds water as a criticism, mind you. That particular line was crossed many years ago (remember Chantelle on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’?) and there’s no returning from it.
