There are a few surprising inclusions

Number one may surprise you.

The folks over at Forbes have been crunching the number and have calculated who the wealthiest celebrities are. They’ve taken people from all aspects of the entertainment world, including musicians, authors, athletes, reality stars and personalities.

It may just be us but we were surprised to see Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy, topping the list. He comes in ahead of the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, the Weeknd, Adele and Coldplay.

We knew he was still around working on other projects but we never expected him to be the highest paid. His wealth is down to his Bad Boy Reunion Tour, a deal with the vodka company Ciroc and his highly lucrative clothing company.

Unsurprisingly, Beyoncé is next on the list, largely due to her Formation World Tour.

Rounding off the top five are JK Rowling, Drake and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The youngest person on the entire list of 100 celebrities is Kylie Jenner who is worth an impressive $41m. While the oldest on the list are Judy Sheindlin, known as Judge Judy, ($47m) and Sir Paul McCartney ($54m).

The top 100 also includes, Justin Bieber (13th), Ellen DeGeneres (16th), Adele (18th) and Ryan Seacrest (29th).

Here is the top ten:

  1. Sean Combs ($130m)
  2. Beyoncé Knowles ($105m)
  3. J.K. Rowling ($95m)
  4. Drake ($94m)
  5. Cristiano Ronaldo ($93m)
  6. The Weeknd ($92m)
  7. Howard Stern ($90m)
  8. Coldplay ($88m)
  9. James Patterson ($87m)
  10. LeBron James ($86m)
