Here are the best TV shows that will be on Netflix in 2018

Paul Moore

Plenty of fantastic shows to binge on.

We’ve already given our picks of the best films and TV shows to look out for in 2018, but what about those TV shows that are exclusively available on Netflix? If you’re looking for something to binge on, all these shows – both returning and new – will be airing in 2018.

Narcos: Season 4

What to expect: Pedro Pascal (Pena) is gone but he’s been replaced by Diego Luna and Michael Pena. The war on drugs continues as Mexico City is the new battleground.

Mindhunter: Season 2

What to expect: No official release date has been given yet but in a recent interview, David Fincher talked about the show in terms of “next year”, stating he’d be filming in 2018, which would further imply that the second season would drop towards the end of the year, just like season one.

As for the plot, Fincher said that they’re “looking at the Atlanta child murders” which were a series of 28 killings of African-American children, teenagers and adults.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs

What to expect: The miniseries will be an anthology western following six different storylines. Oh yeah, it’s also directed by the Coen Brothers so we’re confident of great things.

Better Call Saul: Season 3

What to expect: Given the fact that the third season managed to be the best one yet, we’re intrigued to see where the Breaking Bad prequel series will go. Like they’ve always done, we’re expecting Netflix to air the episodes straight after AMC.

Arrested Development: Season 5

What to expect: Season 4 was awful. Like, pure awful. It seems like the produce5rs have learned from their mistakes and we’ll cut them some slack because when the Bluths are good, they’re the funniest thing on TV.

Daredevil: Season 3

What to expect: The Kingpin is back but after the end of The Defenders, Matt Murdock was left in a bad way. Trouble could be brewing in Hell’s Kitchen.

Jessica Jones: Season 2

What to expect: Speaking of The Defenders, we’re also very excited to see what the hard-drinking, wise-cracking and ass-kicking P.I is up to.

Glow: Season 2

What to expect: Easily one of the best new shows in 2017, we’re eager to see where Ruth and Debbie’s rivalry goes. Of course, we reckon that there will be even more amazing one-liners from Sam Sylvia.

Maniac

What to expect: A Superbad reunion between Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in this show that revolves around an institutionalised man that dreams of a new life in a fantasy world.

Disenchantment

What to expect: A new animation from the creator of The Simpsons and Futurama. Eh, HELL YES!

Kingdom

What to expect: An eight-episode zombie thriller set in Korea’s medieval period. Bonkers, bloody and batshit carnage to unfold.

Seven Seconds

What to expect: Your latest addiction to true crime and mystery.

Dirty Money

What to expect: A thrilling investigative series from Academy Award-winning director Alex Gibney, which provides an up-close and personal view into untold stories of scandal and corruption in the world of business.

Dogs of Berlin

What to expect: Two disparate detectives into a battle with the Berlin underworld and a confrontation with their own corruption.

O Mecanismo

What to expect: The next great Netflix foreign language show that’s loosely inspired by an investigation of alleged corruption in private and state oil and construction companies in Brazil.

Altered Carbon

What to expect: A new series set over 300 years in the future, when human minds are digitized and downloaded from body to body.
