A real stomach twister
A gory new trailer has dropped for a horror movie that’s ‘so disgusting’ it made one of the actors, who was part of the film, throw up.
Horror films are a genre to themselves like none other, dedicated to making audiences feel things they would never want to experience in everyday life, but come to twistedly enjoy once put onto the big screen.
This is no different for horror film Smile 2 which has just dropped a new trailer in the run up to its release in October.
The film is the sequel to the hugely popular 2022 film of the same name which many dubbed the “creepiest” of the year.
The gist of the film concerns an individual who is subject to a curse that sees every person they meet breaking into hideous smiles before going on to commit violent acts.
Since the first film, the curse has now transferred to a new victim with only one cast member from the first film, Kyle Gallner who plays Joel, surviving the cut for the sequel.
Euphoria actor Lukas Gage is one of the newcomers who did an interview about the film in which he revealed the film’s goriness caused him to be physically sick.
Speaking on The Jess Cagle Show, he said: “I’m so scared to give any spoilers away. If you love the first movie, you’re going to love this one.
He added: “It’s so terrifying. It was the first time I’ve ever been on a set where I was genuinely afraid, and I actually got sick to my stomach in one take.
“I didn’t think I would. I just, it was so gory and so disgusting.”

“That smile itself is just so creepy, and then you throw the most gory scenes on top of it,” he added.
Aladdin star Naomi Scott will play protagonist and pop-star, Skye Riley, who is now subject to the creepy curse.
The film will hit cinemas 18 October in the UK so remember to bring your best smiles.
