Gino D’Acampo has announced that he has quit Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip following contract rows.
The popular ITV show first aired in 2018 and saw Gino travel the globe with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
But the Italian chef said he would not be filming another series of the show because of other commitments and “arguments” over contracts.
However, he stressed that his friendship with Gordon and Fred was still "strong" and the reason for his departure was nothing to do with them.
In a video message on Instagram, Gino told his followers: “Last week I decided not to film any more Gordon, Gino & Fred: Road Trip, the reason is simple, nothing to do with Gordon and Fred - the friendship is very strong.
"It’s just because we can’t get the dates together. And when we do get the dates together sometimes they get changed and it causes a lot of problems for me.”
The 46-year-old went on to say: "Because contracts start to become very complicated and very stressful, I personally value the friendship with Gordon and Fred so much that I would rather the friendship than arguments with the contract.
"Personal problems as well because when I have to change things with my family it is very complicated and also because contracts.
"So I have decided not to do it anymore because I want to be friends with the boys for many, many years ahead."
Fans will be treated to one final season of the show, in which the trio will travel to Spain. This has already been filmed but has not yet been aired by ITV.
In previous series, the three foodie friends have travelled to France, Italy, Scotland, the US and Greece.
