Miller has been hit with several allegations and charges in recent months
Actor Ezra Miller has finally spoken out over their numerous controversies in recent months and has revealed they are now undergoing treatment for “complex mental health issues”.
The 29-year-old actor has been embroiled in a number of scandals of late, including accusations of running a cult, grooming and emotionally abusing underage women, as well as most recently being arrested in Vermont on felony burglary charges.
Addressing the series of allegations and charges for the first time via a representative’s statement to Variety, Miller says: “Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.
“I want to apologise to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behaviour. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.”
Following an earlier pair of arrests in Hawaii in the space a few weeks, Miller disappeared and had been evading authorities, even going so far as to taunt them by sharing a number of cryptic social media posts before deleting their accounts entirely.
Shortly after dropping off the radar, they were spotted in a supermarket by a fan who began filming and was ultimately threatening by Miller, who said “I [could] aways just knock you out”.
