Robot Wars continued its triumphant return in episode 2 of the comeback series, and there was one name on everyone's lips.
No, not Craig Charles, whose presence on the show is still missed.

No, not Top Gear, which
failed to pull in even a fraction of Robot Wars' numbers.
We're talking about Foxic. Don't know what we mean? Here's a quick refresher.

It looks like a fox, and it's toxic. Hence Foxic.
It's also, to quote Commonwealth Games badminton player Nic Strange, the 'worst robot ever'.

By the end we were feeling a little sorry for creator Craig Danby - not only was he behind an unpopular robot, but his mere first name reminded viewers of how much they missed the show's former host. And only one of those things was his fault.
Oh, hang on, we've just learned that they created their own hashtag, #FoxicWaste. And just when we were starting to show some sympathy.

Well, at least they won some fans.

Away from Foxic's performance, and avoiding too many spoilers (do people care about Robot Wars spoilers? Who knows?), the show continues to win back old fans and add some new ones in the process.
