Dee Bliss set to return to Neighbours, 13 years after her death

Madeleine West, who played Dee Bliss in the long-running Australian soap Neighbours, is set to reprise the role later this year having been written out of the show 13 years ago. While it was assumed that Bliss tragically passed away, her body was never found. Toadie, of course, has since moved on and married Sonya, so Dee’s return is bound to cause plenty of excitement on Ramsay Street. Speaking about her return to Neighbours, West said: "It is a very rare and wonderful thing when an actor has the opportunity to step back into the shoes of a character they created, even more so when that character had not been seen for some 13 years, and was one as beloved as Dee Bliss.
