Aside from being one of the greatest footballers the world has ever seen, some might cynically suggest that his on-field theatrics down the years make Cristiano Ronaldo's latest venture a logical next step.

Fresh off the back of launching his new fragrance, it appears that the Real Madrid man has landed himself a role in a new Martin Scorsese film. According to Spanish paper Marca, Ronaldo is due to make his big screen bow in Scorsese's new film, 'The Manipulator'. Set for a release next year, the film tells the story of Allesandro Proto an Italian multi-millionaire that reportedly inspired the character of Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey.
