Could Ronda Rousey be about to join the Marvel Universe?

She's definitely a superhero in our eyes, but Ronda Rousey has her steely gaze on a fresh challenge beyond the Octagon - saving the world.

That's right - the remarkable Rousey, who is no stranger to Hollywood with acting with roles in Entourage and The Expendables, quite fancies entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ms Marvel. In a recent Q&A on Reddit, she said when asked what movie she's like to be in, "Well... a lot of the good ones have been taken, but I'd like to vie for Miss Marvel." Ms Marvel is a superhero with flying abilities as well as great strength, and Rousey certainly fits the bill regarding the second requirement. As of now, we're unsure whether Ronda has ever been airborne, but she's certainly sent a fair few opponents flying. Rumoured to be in the running for the role are former award winning actresses Emily Blunt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jessica Chastain which means she will have to overcome some stiff competition if she is to win the leading role in the 2018 release. We believe she can do it though, she's backed up everything she's attempted so far anyway.
