A Corrie character is about to prove that it's not just Pat Phelan that Weatherfield residents have to watch out if they want to avoid a brush with the reaper. It's reported that the show's writers have lined up a medical emergency for a main character, who will suffer a heart attack and end up rushed to the hospital. "We’re trying to hold a mirror up to what’s going on and I think the producers have timed it pretty well." All we know for now is that the character will end up in the hospital and it is yet unclear whether he will make a full recovery.
