For those uninitiated, the Karate Kid sequel series and reboot of the franchise first kicked off as YouTube Red series (before the service was rebranded as Premium), establishing cult following early on.
Since then, and in no small part thanks to the acquisition by Netflix, it has gone on to become massively popular among a new generation — not to mention those who remember the original films and the younger versions of many returning characters, such as the Karate Kid himself, Danny LaRusso (Ralph Macchio).
Speaking of which, as well as the central cast, previously released images had already confirmed that the return of Karate Kid III star Sean Kanan, who will be reprising his role as Mike Barns. Moreover, this latest trailer gives us a glimpse at Kreese (Martin Kove) plotting in prison after having been framed by Silver in the dramatic Cobra Kai season four finale.

This latest series looks like its set up for multiple characters to find their feet again after the All Valley Tournament and as the announcement teased, "Nothing hits harder than a comeback".
