The Netflix Marvel shows have been a bit hit and miss
Jessica Jones was fantastic, and
The Punisher and
Luke Cage definitely had their moments. But on the other hand,
Iron Fist was plodding, boring and predictable, and sadly that also continued into
The Defenders.
The first Netflix show though, the one that set the tone, was
Daredevil, and across two seasons it has remained a consistent level of quality. Maybe the second season didn’t quite hit the highs of Vincent D'Onofrio’s Kingpin, but it is still definitely worth watching.
Season three is due to come later this year. We don’t know much so far, but it appears the identity of the villain has just been leaked on the Instagram of Charlie Cox’s personal trainer.
Naqam Washington posted a photo of him in the gym with Cox, and newcomer Wilson Bethel. Look at the hashtags – yup, one of them says “Bullseye”.

For those of you who don’t know, Bullseye is Daredevil’s greatest villain in the comics, who slays his first true love Electra. He doesn't have superpowers per se, but he is a master marksman who can basically throw anything and turn it into a lethal dart.
Bullseye was also played by Colin Farrell in the 2003
Daredevil film starring Ben Affleck, and was probably the best thing about that film.
