Charlie Cox to return as Daredevil, Marvel boss confirms

The fans have spoken and they have been heard - rejoice!

Marvel president and producing mastermind Kevin Feige has confirmed that fan favourite Charlie Cox will be returning to his much-lauded role as Daredevil. Speaking to CinemaBlend, the 48-year-old said, in no uncertain terms: "If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Cox, 38, starred in three series of Netflix's flagship Marvel show, delighting fans before the slate of TV shows which included Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist ended up being cancelled after a drop in quality, audience reception and the expensive licensing meant that each season had to be a hit. However, despite a perceived wobble in season two, Netflix's take on Daredevil remains a much-loved take on the long-dormant Marvel character and fans have been calling not only for it to be resurrected but for the lead actor to be reinstated for any and all future performances.
