Brooker was recently asked if the episode would prove that Black Mirror is set within one universe.
He told Express:
"It does sort of...it is and it isn't one universe. I think 'Black Museum' refers to almost every episode we've ever done. "We always used to say it’s a shared universe but then I started to say it’s a psychologically shared universe and now some of the episodes are definitely connected because there’s specific references within that story to things we’ve seen in other episodes."Most of the details about the hotly anticipated fourth season have been kept under wraps so far - with only a few short trailers having been released in recent weeks. There will be six new stories featured in the series; Arkangel, USS Callister, Crocodile, Hang the DJ, Metalhead, and Black Museum. Black Mirror returns to Netflix on December 29
