Billie Eilish confesses to using body double for Coachella festival set

'Nobody ever knew it wasn't me, literally nobody knew'

Billie Eilish has admitted she used  to a body double at Coachella 2022 and insists that absolutely no one spotted it. The 20-year-old singer revealed how she and her dancers pulled off the sneaky switch during an interview with Matt Wilkinson on Apple Music, explaining that they made a last-minute swap before the lights came down on the doppelganger in front of 750,000 people in April. Eilish even teased her followers on social media by sharing an image of her in disguise at the end of a Coachella carousel on Instagram - not that anyone noticed at the time. We got a black wig and we put buns in it and we gave her a mask and sunglasses and she wore my shoes and my socks. "I put her up at the back of the stage and she stood there while the lights went on and everybody thought it was me. And nobody ever knew it wasn't me, literally nobody knew. And while she’s up there, I put on a big black coat and a traffic vest and a hood and just glasses." Eilish is set to headline Glastonbury on Friday, alongside her brother Finneas, which will make her the youngest headliner of the festival in history.
