It looks like we might be able to watch series on Netflix that are available in other countries.
The European Parliament is trying to pass legislation that will allow users to access the content from their profile at home when they are abroad.
At the moment, Netflix restricts certain content in different countries so when you log on in a foreign country to watch your favourite show it might be missing.
They do this through the IP address, which gives your location to Netflix and therefore gives a user access ton the shows or movies that are available in that country.
According to The Independent, the new legislation from the European Parliment means that online content providers, such as Netflix, will no longer be able to use IP addresses as a means of finding out where people are.
The reason for the change is to allow people to access the same content whenever they are travelling. It's not clear what measures Netflix will take if the legislation passes, but it might have a very big benefit if you're at home.
It will essentially reverse the process. If it passes, it means that the limit on content in the UK could be taken away and we might be able to watch shows and movies that are available in other countries.
Just think of all the possibilities.
