Big Brother will be making an "explosive return" next year, it has been revealed - though many fans won't be watching unless Davina McCall returns with it. News of the show's comeback emerged last night, when a promotional video aired during the Love Island final. The iconic reality TV show launched back in 2000 and aired for 18 years in the UK before it was scrapped. The 54-year-old presenter did return for a programme looking back at Big Brother's best ever moments for the show's 20th anniversary in 2020 - but fans are eager to see her return for an entire series. "I didn’t miss one single episode. Not one week goes by when I don’t quote Big Brother in some form. A cast of "carefully selected housemates from all walks of life" will live there for up to six weeks with no access to the outside world. Meanwhile, viewers will watch their every move via CCTV and as always, the programme will include live evictions - enabling the public to vote for who they want to keep in or out and control which contestant will eventually take home the cash prize. Further details about the show are yet to be revealed but many fans are making it very clear exactly which announcement they want next.
