It's been an eventful night at the BRIT Awards. Hugh Jackman kicked things off by singing 'The Greatest Show', which people absolutely loved.
Matt Healy then made a very important speech while accepting The 1975's award for British Group, reciting a line from Laura Snapes' recent article in the Guardian on sexual harassment in the music industry.
Jay-Z and Beyonce then stole the limelight, accepting their International Group award with a video message that featured them both stood in front of a portrait of the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
Markle has been subject to a lot of scrutiny in the press for every single fucking thing she does, because apparently in this country that's a normal way for the media to behave. She is constantly compared to her sister in law, Kate Middleton, and hammered for the most trivial of things. I can't possibly think why.
Anyway, The Carters decided to show some solidarity with Markle by featuring a portrait of her highness in their acceptance video.
