The statue marks 25 years of Jurassic Park

A statue of actor Jeff Goldblum has appeared next to Tower Bridge in London to mark 25 years since the first release of Jurassic Park, in which Goldblum plays the role Dr Ian Malcolm.

The statue depicts Goldblum open-shirted, doing a famous pose from the 1993 film. The monument, dubbed by some as London’s “best attraction” is 25 feet long and weighs 150kg. It will remain in place until Thursday, July 26th.

Tourists have been going to the statue in droves to get a selfie with the iconic statue of the much-adored Hollywood star.

Since Jurassic Park, Goldblum has starred in countless blockbuster hits such as Independence Day, The Grand Budapest Hotel and a number of high profile television series, including making a cameo appearance in Friends.
