Irate train passenger slashes woman across face with knife after she won’t stop eating

An irate passenger on a train in New York slashed another woman's face with a knife after she wouldn't stop eating, police said. The 33-year-old victim was eating on a moving southbound D train in Brooklyn around 1030pm Wednesday when another woman approached her and asked her to stop, according to New York police. The victim went to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in stable condition. Police are still hunting the suspect, and released photos of her late Tuesday. She has dark hair, and wore a dark-colored jacket, light-colored sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the attack. Police are offering a $3500 (£2600) reward for information.
