Boy, two, fighting for life after being mauled by ‘two rottweilers’ at country cottage

A two-year-old is fighting for his life after being mauled by "two rottweilers" at a country cottage in Worcestershire. The unnamed toddler was attacked in Egdon on March 28 and was rushed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by paramedics, where he is currently in critical condition. According to reports in The Sun, neighbours told reporters that the family own at least two rottweilers and they witnessed "loads of police" outside their rural property. "This is an incredibly sad incident and our thoughts are with the young child and his family," said Chief Inspector Fergus Green via a public statement. "I'd like to offer reassurance that the dogs involved have now been secured and removed from the property in Egdon, and therefore pose no risk to the public." Just last week, 17-month-old Bella Rae Birch was mauled by the family dog at her home in St Helen's, Merseyside. Currently, the only dogs banned are the Pitbull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino and Fila Brasileiro.
