Batman oral sex scene cut from DC series because ‘heroes don’t do that’

The Dark Knight’s sex skills will never see the light of day

DC executives have forbidden the creators of the hit series The Harley Quinn show from showing Batman give oral to Catwoman.

With Kaley Cuoco voicing the titular character, the Harley Quinn show often walks the line between comedy and potentially offensive humour. It follows Harley as she tries to make a name for herself without the Joker. It deals with themes of abuse, sexuality, and sexism in a digestible, relatable, and satirical approach.

In the upcoming third season of the show, creators had Batman dusting his Batcave and engaging in some consensual animated fun with Catwoman. Reportedly, the caped crusader had set his sights on his next Crusade- going down on Catwoman.

However, the higher-ups at DC have demanded the scene be removed. Co-creator Justin Halpern spoke to Variety about the ordeal.

“In this third season of Harley [Quinn], we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.'”

“They were like, ‘It’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.'”

Ironically, DC isn’t exactly the cleanest when it comes to comic books. Wonder Woman once wrapped herself in Superman’s cape following a sexual encounter that she described as “Just mind-numbingly incredible.”

Unfortunately for fans, a Batman and Catwoman sex scene is not in the near future. I guess outright murder is okay, but sex between consenting adults is a no-go.

If fans are still wanting to get their erotic Batman experience, then just watch Batman Forever, where the costumes come complete with defined chests and nipples.
