Your Christmas present is sorted because the mini Super Nintendo looks absolutely incredible

Paul Moore

Know anyone that wants this? The trailer is mega!

An esteemed colleague of mine had the temerity and cheek to say that the SEGA Megadrive was a better console than the SNES. Naturally, I put this charlatan in his place by delivering a flying Liu Kang bicycle kick to his head.

Ok, that’s a bit extreme but given how amazing the Super Nintendo is – Super Mario World, Mario Kart, Street Fighter II: Turbo, Starfox, Donkey Kong Country and International Superstar Soccer are proof of this – it’s obvious that the SNES is still beloved by an entire generation of gamers.

As previously stated, the Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Nintendo Entertainment System is released today and Nintendo have dropped a magnificent trailer of what’s in store.

The new version still has the original look and feel of the ‘90s home console, only smaller. Plus, this one comes fully loaded with 21 games! Two wired retro Super NES controllers are included for multiplayer gaming right out of the box.

You’re also going to get two wired retro Super NES controllers – who fancies some late night Mario Kart action?

The console costs £70 and you can find it here.
