The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge has finally gone on sale in the UK weeks after it was first revealed by the brand.
The new ultra-thin smartphone was first revealed by Samsung on 13 May but the first phones will only appear in stores on 30 May, meaning the best launch deals are available now for the next generation smartphone.
There is a reason to be excited about the Galaxy S25 Edge. It may not have every feature from the range-topping S25 Ultra but it is the first new ultra-thin smartphone that could begin a new era for thinner, more powerful phones with high quality cameras despite their small size.
It is the first in a new generation of phones that will be thinner than before and Apple is expected to launch an iPhone 17 Air to compete with Samsung's new phone. Little is known about the Apple option but it will form part of a four-strong iPhone 17 lineup.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge meanwhile, packs in a 200MP Google AI-powered camera, an advanced processor helping to maximise battery life, and enough power to offer real-time ray tracing and Vulkan optimisation for gaming and streaming, it is one of the most impressive new phones on the market.
Available in three Titanium colours, silver, ‘icyblue’ and ‘jetblack’, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge uses a new form of Gorilla Glass to ensure it is rigid and strong enough to cope with everyday life despite its 6.7mm width.
The handset costs £1,099 and Samsung is offering 512GB for the price of the 256GB version as a special launch offer for the phone.
The cheapest price we could find on contract was at Sky Mobile, which is offering the S25 Galaxy Edge free up front with a £40 a month contract for two years.
