The Nintendo Switch 2 will finally arrive on 5 June in the UK but it will only be available to those who have bagged a pre order console.
Very, Currys and Amazon are all listing the next-generation handheld console as out of stock, while Nintendo itself says pre orders are only available for people who have taken out a paid Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
It means those who have not yet secured a pre order will need to head to stores on 5 June to get their hands on the latest console.
Meanwhile, those who have secured a pre order can still find Nintendo Switch 2 carry cases, extra joy-con controllers and extra storage options for the console.
Nintendo has launched pre orders for Nintendo Cube-style controllers for the Switch 2, joy-con controller charging grips, Nintendo Switch 2 cameras and a joy-con wheel.
The Nintendo Switch 2 carry case is priced at £20.99 and is on sale here alongside the full range of accessories and upgrades.
There are also a handful of new Nintendo Switch 2 games that fans can pre order so they'll be available at launch when the console arrives in stores. The full list of Nintendo Switch 2 games are:
Mario Kart World is the flagship game of the new console and it is also available as part of a bundle with the console launch. Nintendo says the new Mario Kart game will be more open world than ever before, with extensive multi player and new driver and track options available.
Nintendo is bringing out the big guns for the Switch 2 launch and that means Donkey Kong will be joining Mario in the line up. Donkey Kong Bonanza is the latest addition to the action adventure genre and will be on sale from launch.
The classic fighting game is back for Nintendo Switch 2 complete with three distinct game modes, new gameplay features, and enhanced visuals. There are 18 new fighters to choose from including classic favourites Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie and Kimberly.
The expansion pack for Super Mario Party Jamboree brings the title up to date for the Nintendo Switch 2 era. You can now get Jamboree TV, which is a new way to play that's all about audience participation! Take on a variety of challenges along with Mario and friends.
The loveable Kirby returns to the Nintendo Switch 2 in Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. The new game includes Kirby and the Forgotten Land, improved graphics and frame rate throughout, plus a new story: Star Crossed World.
