AC Milan are riding high at the top of Serie A. Undefeated after seven league games, they are top with 17 points and the joint best goal difference in the league, in no small part thanks to the talismanic Zlatan Ibrahimović.

In his second spell at the club, the Swede has found a second wind and is enjoying some of his best form since his PSG days, at the age of 39, with nine goals in all competitions this season for the Rossoneri.

And during this past international break, the superstar kept spirits high among his club teammates by gifting them all a PlayStation 5 console, which was released this week.

His generosity was well received by his Milan teammates, with fellow striker Rafael Leao branding him the ‘GOAT’ in his gracious Instagram post.

Samu Castillejo and Mateo Mussachio were also among the Milan stars to post their thanks to Ibrahimović on Instagram.

Milan fans have responded well to the gesture, labelling their star striker ‘Zanta Claus’ on Twitter.

On the pitch, Milan are stronger than they’ve ever been since Zlatan departed for Paris in 2012. The past eight years have seen managers come and go and some disappointing finishes, missing out on European football three times.

But with the league blown wide open this year, with Juventus in a transitional period under the inexperienced Andrea Pirlo and Inter Milan yet struggling to hit top form under Antonio Conte, Milan have been gifted a chance to win their first scudetto since 2011.

And gifting everyone a PlayStation will do their chances no harm, unless of course Zlatan causes dressing room chaos by destroying them all at FIFA, which would be extremely on brand.
