These rumours won't be going away for a while

These rumours won’t be going away for a while

Ever since the first sign that Neymar perhaps wasn’t 100% content at Paris Saint-Germain due to changing room politics, rumours of Real Madrid’s interest in signing him have refused to go away.

Neymar’s move to PSG was always an opportunistic move for both club and player, and it seems unlikely that the Brazilian will stay at PSG for very long.

When asked about the possibility of signing the world’s most expensive player, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane explained that while he admires his talent, he is still a PSG player.

“”People can say what they want, what the players say and what I say is always the same, that he is a good player but not ours,” Zidane told a press conference.

One of the potential issues with Neymar joining would be. where to fit him in. One of the forward line would probabaly have to make way for Neymar to slot in on the left.

Asked whether Neymar would be compatible with the ‘BBC’ (Bale, Benzema and Cristiano), he said: “I don’t know. Good players can perform in any team and any position. They are compatible. What the club does will always depend on factors like this.”

Ronaldo has almost completed his full transformation into central striker, so there could be space for a new left sided forward at the Bernabeu. It would also be a huge up yours to Barcelona, should Madrid manage to sign Neymar, after he spent four years at Barcelona.
