We may now just be hours out from Spurs' shocking decision to sack Thomas Frank as first team manager, but discussions have already begun over who is most likely to take over at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The decision to part company with Frank came amid an awful run of form.
At current, the club are winless in their last eight Premier League fixtures, leaving them 14th in the table, just 5 points above the relegation zone.

With the club still yet to name a new manager —even for the short-term— there is no clear indication over what their recruitment strategy will be for the rest of the season; as to whether Spurs will appoint an interim head coach, or look at securing a permanent manager in time for the north London derby later this month.
Despite the sense of ambiguity, a favourite to become the next Spurs manager has emerged.
Receiving 27.5% of all betting so far, former Marseille and Brighton manager Roberto di Zerbi appears to be the number one choice amongst those with betting accounts.

Di Zerbi was fired by Ligue 1 outfit Marseille almost as recently as Frank, with the decision taking place on Tuesday evening, so would be available to take up work immediately.
The Italian is known for coaching teams to play progressive exciting football, so would be an attractive prospect after a dismal eight months under Frank.
Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino came in at a close second. The USMNT manager has secured 20.41% of bets so far.
Should Spurs choose to move for the Argentine, who spent five years with the club as manager in the 2010s, they will likely have to wait until the conclusion of the World Cup.
The other options were current Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner (10.2%), Xabi Alonso (8.16%), and Robbie Keane (7.14%).
An official announcement from the club over who will take over is expected in the coming days.
