West Brom fans have rallied around defender Chris Brunt after he was hit by a coin thrown by his own fans.
The 31-year-old was struck in the face by the coin following West Brom's 3-1 defeat at the hands of Championship club Reading which ended their time in this season's FA Cup.
Brunt admitted he was ashamed of the club's supporters, a view that was held by many involved with the club.

Many Baggies fans were equally ashamed, and have decided to show their support for Brunt at the team's next home game against Crystal Palace this Saturday.
Supporters plan to chant Brunt's name during the 11th minute of the match, while plans to toss coins into buckets for a charity of Brunt's choosing are also under way.
While no player should have to put up with what happened to Brunt over the weekend, this is a nice reminder that such actions are that of a minority of fans and that there are still plenty of good ones out there.
